THE LEOPARD CX1
Just in, the CX1 carbon cross bike. At 1070g's in the small size, the Leopard CX1 is one of the lightest cross frames available. This is the bike ridden by Danish cyclocross champion Joachim Parbo. Get yours now!
THE LEOPARD TT1
Full carbon monocoque, aerodynamic shape, and designed to go fast, the TT1 is perfect for triathlons and time trial events.
THE LEOPARD M1SL
The newest road frame in our lineup, the M1SL continues the tradition of the monocoque M1, but is built with a higher modulus, lighter weight T800 carbon fiber resulting in a frame that is over one quarter of a pound lighter than the already lightweight M1. The M1SL also utilizes carbon fiber dropouts instead of aluminum dropouts to further reduce weight. The M1SL has more traditional round tube shapes, but tubes are still designed to maximize frame stiffness and ride comfort.
How much is 35g's worth? The lightest production bike, the Scott Addict R1, has a frame weight of 790g's. The Leopard M1SL has a frame weight of 825g's. A Scott Addict equipped with SRAM Red components retails for $8450. A similarly equipped Leopard M1SL? About $5000. The cost of those 35g's? $3450. That's more expensive than gold and easily made up in some simple component choices.
THE LEOPARD M1
Our M1 frame is our first monocoque frame and still one of the most stunningly beautiful monocoque frames, the M1 is unique among road bikes with diamond-shaped top and downtubes designed to provide optimal stiffness and compliance.
THE LEOPARD CL1
The workhorse of our lineup and named by Outside Magazine as a "Killer Value", the CL1 is a carbon frame with carbon fiber lugs, allowing us to offer a frame with all of the responsiveness and handling characteristics of the M1 and M1SL with only a slight weight penalty and at a great price. Here's what Outside magazine had to say about the bike in 2006:
